: Crazy question, what's your MPG?

It's a crazy question but compared to a lot of vehicles out there, vettes don't get that bad of gas mileage. I get roughly 4mpg higher than my truck which puts me at an average of ~21mpg. This is nice which allows me to go 2 weeks on a tank on a 1992 coupe.

I'm wondering what everyone else is getting.

At 21mpg, how much is city driving? My 84' combined city, hghwy probably equals your 21 mpg which I consider quite ok for an old "tusk".

my 21 MPG is roughly 80% city driving. I have a short 7ish mile commute on a 35mph road then a quick 2 mile stretch of 60mph highway. Nice pic BTW 2jakes.

I get between 19 and 23 mpg highway driving (Irvine to San Marcos, CA). Just depends if I get the urge to open up the 53mm throttle bodies!!

At 80MPH on the interstate I am averaging about 26 mpg. Not bad for a 350hp engine.!!!!!!!!

My 87 gets about 24 MPG both highway and city. I haven't done any regular highway driving for a whole tank yet. Now my 07 Silverado I'm getting 21 MPG going back and forth to work. That is also a mix between highway and city driving.
Got to love Chevy.

Average low 20's. Ive seen 31 on the freeway at 70 with no headwind. But I drive 80-85 and that drops it about 6mpg on the freeway. Thats in a stock 2002 Z06.

17-23 depends how I drive If you really get into it I have a 88 with nitrous and it opens up another whole situation because it opens more fuel to compensate for extra oxy it might get 5 mpg

Around town, 22 mpg, on the open road around 27 mpg. Once got 32 mpg on the highway with cruise on. I don't drive aggressively which helps.

I am usually in the 17 range in the city. On the Hwy she'll get 24-26. This is with a heavily modified LT1 motor.

I'm getting about 12 in town and 16-21 on the highway with my 1992 LT-1....I almost always drive her easy. I installed a high flow fuel filter, a K&N air filter, Iridium plugs, 7mm mag wires, and the aftermarket "low restriction" air duct and there are no stored codes (ie. o2 sensor, egr)....WTF?! You guys are getting way better than me. What can i do differently?
