My seats don't remember my preset locations? Everytime I get into car I need to move my seat to where I want it? I have easily hit the #1 button and held it a couple dozen times? Any clues?

You have to be at a stop and with the handbrake on for mine to remember the presets. Try that. Move your seat where you want it. Hold 1 or 2. and try it again with the handbrake on again. It should work.

On my 2008 the key fob things are numbered #1 & #2, you must use fob #1 to program button #1 and fob #2 to program Button #2

I hope that is a joke. Who carries both fobs around??? :confused:
Seat memory won't work unless hand brake is set. :p

You don't carry both fobs around, For the memory set of button one, you need to have fob #1. If you try to use fob #2 to program Button one, at least on my 2008, it will not work. Owners manuel page 1-4, under Memory Seat, Mirrors and Steering Wheel, says "The numbers on the back of the keyless acces transmitters correspond to the numbers on the memory buttons". The parking brake needs to be set only on a manuel trabsmission.

i have a 2008 z06. when i programmed my presets, i held the button down until it beeps twice. hope this helps.:cheers:
