I know mine have change in the bottom and a few odds and ends because they surely don't hold much of a drink in them! That is why I got the aftermarket drink holders, so much nicer then the stock ones, IMO.

First let me say, I know I am cut from a different cloth than most. Some of you would probably even think I should be institutionalized.

I do not use my cup holders for anything. I do not allow liquids in my cars, ever! Putting anything else in it would only lead to excess noise, such as coins rattling. I personally have no use for cup holders. Of course, I also have no use for sun visors. I guess it comes from the old days when the more you used them, the looser they got. As a result, my sun visors are also off limits because I don't want them to get loose and start falling down every time you hit a bump. I also don't use the "easy egress" feature, where the seat goes back and the steering wheel up and in. I got in and out of a car just fine before the features were invented and I can still do it. My theory is the more you use that stuff the quicker it wears out. I am also aware that sometimes things wear out quicker due to lack of use, such as window regulators and motors. I have learned that the hard way.

Sorry, did not mean to get on a soap box here but the question about the cup holders just led me to other stuff. I fully realize I am probably a minority in this thought process but since we are all "Corvette Comrades" I thought I would share my personal philosophy with you guys. Have a great Corvette day!!!

Same here! Plus my wallet!

I quit carrying a wallet since there's never anything in it.

I have a CM coaster stuck in my cup holder. I use the double AM holder that a friend gave me... wedges under the center console on Pass. side... works well, but won't hold those large cups from the gas station. :food-smiley-019:
