Really. Have not had to go into mine. But that is the one with the super high torque requirement isn't it? I can't remember exactly, but back when I was chasing a ticking sound, I read that it started out being 65lbs and went up to 185lbs.

Vetteoz will chime in soon. He seems to know the specs on most everything vette..

For my 96 a Ebay Vendor sent me a pair of 503013 it listed as a interchange for the 503020 for the rear of the 96 C4 vette I have not had time to install them yet was hopeing to quite some gear noise.
If you can find OME they High dollar and every thing else is made in China

Only difference is
Hub pilot is 3.21 on 503013
Hub pilot is 3.62 on 503020

180-200 ft lbs. And torquing them correctly is essential to bearing longevity. Pep Boys used to sell Timken bearings....american made, about $150 each, and good quality...but I haven't bought them since 2004. Don't know if they still have them.

There is nothing to pack, the hub assembly comes as a sealed unit.

Did not know that. Like I said, haven't had to touch mine yet. All the same, that worries me. Not only do you have to deal with chinese bearings, but chinese grease to boot. Wonder if they still make that outta goat fat....:stupid:

Haven't had to do mine yet either. I remember packing them the old way in the palm of your hand. Seems everything is made overseas these days.
