How do I remove steering wheel on '97 C5? Are there air bags in these?

Yes there are! It's recommended that the Dealer do it... You'd need to remove the airbag and then use a wheel puller to get it off.

Like some of the older cars do these have compressed "O" clips? Once you remove the steering wheel under the horn assembly? I removed a steering wheel off a truck once and its so much easier with the right tools. Can't say I would attempt it on a Corvette.
