Most give oil changes at 3000 to 4000 markers. Are there any benefits if oil changes where done earlier? Noticable benefits, will the motor last longer?

This is very subjective. It's mostly a matter of personal preference. With the synthetics being as good as they are, I think that those intervals are fine. I change mine at 3000 mile intervals.

Mostly depends on conditions how you drive your car. Dusty dirty conditions, {all we have in OK panhandle} hiway driving, in town with a lot of stops and starts. Different oils break down faster than others and need to be changed more often. I work for a company that sells and distributes oil nationwide for all applications, heavy equip, drilling rigs, trucking companies, gas compressors, you name it we have the oil for it. I get tired of people telling me they don't need to change their oil, it looks as new as when they poured it in. If your oil looks clean after 3000 miles you need to change the oil brand that you are using. Sorry but it ain't doin the job you need it to do such as keeping the inside of your engine as clean as you are keeping the outside. Another thing I always hear is " I change my oil every 3000 miles and my oil filter every 6000 miles" wake up dipshit you are leaving dirty oil in your engine from the filter. Some people don't have a clue. Just remember oil is cheap compared to engine problems.

Normally you will be benefited if you follow the manufacturer suggested maintenance procedures.

Change mine every 3000 to 4000 miles, clean oil is the lifeblood of an engine.

I change mine at the same intervals. Don't see the need for sooner.

I go by time or Oil Life shown by DIC. It takes driving conditions like short trips and hard driving into consideration. I have friends who do mostly highway driving & their oil life is as much as 8500 miles. I have had mine as low as 4800 when I had a couple of trips to the drag strip. I don't think it knows about dusty conditions, so I'd adjust it down if you drive in a dusty area.

Personally I'm every 3000 miles, there have been times where I got busy and forget and it got nearly 5000 miles once before I got the car in. For the most part is pretty close to the 3000 mark.
