I have a 1997 c5 and just recently the fog lamps, taillights and instrument cluster do not light up when the lights are turned on. All fuses and bulbs check out. My suspicions are that it is the lightand signal control switch. Has anyone had this happen, or know the solution.

yes and I pulled the switch and cleaned the contacts
