I got some nice looking mesh from Lowes and the only thing I need I think is that black stuff that goes on the edge of the mesh to cover up the sharpe edges and make a nice tight fit.
Anyone know what I'm talking about and where to get it?

Check in the weather seal section. You should be able to find what you're looking for.

How about that flexible door edge guard.

This works very well especially if you heat up the edges with a hair dryer to make them soft and plyable.
