My vents have this burning smell coming through them? I have checked everything I can think of and can't seem to find the cause or source? Its like a burnt plastic smell? Any ideas?

Check under the car...I ran over a plastic bag once and it stuck to the exhaust. Smelled pretty bad until it burned completely off.

Maybe oil leaking on the exhaust system or If your heater core is leaking there is a sweat burning kind of smell. Any coolant in the Passenger Side carpet.
