A while back I post here about when I filled my car up all the way I would get gas fumes coming in. Also when I filled it half way none. Everyone including the dealer said the gas cap needed to be replaced and I did replace it. Problem fixed. We'll after a few months its doing it again?!
Any ideas, it can't be the new gas cap is bad already???

I had the same problem, replaced the gas cap and still had the problem. It turned out I had a crack in the top of the left hand gas tank. It was $1500.00 at the dealer to replace. I have a 2004. Hope this info helps.

WOW I would have thought that would have been a warranty item as it's an "emissions" component as well as safety.???
