The shock it self seemed normal and the lower bolt was tight. The breaks were clean and went back together nicely. There are about 120k on the shocks. If you do need to weld one , wrap the body of the shock with a wet cloth so the heat doesn't hurt anything. I could see you flying in the air with the horn playing dixie! seriously, tho , I ve never seen one snap off. It was a PFADT coilover. I had never heard of anybody breaking a shock. PFADT was great they are sending me two to replace the rear. The new have an upgrade. I am concerned now, about it breaking. I never thought it was possible. I wasn't doing anything it is a street daily driver.
