Just saying hi. Ended up here quite a few times on google searches in the last few weeks. Guess I just need to register and stay on ;)
Got my first Vette end of June. 98 Indy pace car replica (#322 to be exact).
Love it, always wanted a nice sports car and ran across this, "only" 21505 miles. Great shape. Some minor upgrades (exhaust and air intake).
But 12 year old car no matter how well taken care of there is always some small issue here or there.
First thing had to fix the AC, luckily just low freon (damaged seal) and broken outside temp sensor and not the actuator (no codes, even if driver side seamed warmer then passenger side). New sensor, repaired seal and proper freon levels and driving cooool now..
Done some small stuff. Tail light seals, hood seals, black chrome AC & radio buttons, trunk partition and got my VetteNet today, just way to harsh sun and to warm to drive top down during the day even with it :(. 104F Today and 60% humidity bit over 110F heat index. ...
Either way. Absolutely love my Vette and looking around woow what a nice community and support around the Vettes. =) Glad to be part of it..
Ohh hitting my first NCCC sanctioned autocross even on Sunday.. I'm SOOOOOOOO ready to tear up the asphalt and not have to worry about the law ;)
