I always use Simple Green around the house and it works the best. I was wondering can Simple Green be used on dirty car parts?

I mix Simple Green with a 50% water solution to clean under my hood. I mist some water in the engine bay, then mist on the Simple Green mixture. A little light brushing with a painbrush cleans things up nicely. I start up the engine and then do a rinse using a light mist. It does a pretty good job of keeping things nice and clean.

:iagree: I have been using Simple Green for years. The best all around cleaner for in the garage and house. Just make sure you lean it down with water.

Simple Green does a great job of breaking up brake dust. Spray down your wheels before you start washing your car and by the time your ready to clean the wheels the brake dust is dripping off the wheel.

Good tip, I'll have to try that next time.
