I have a nice drive in front of me this weekend, the car runs great I was thinking about getting a bottle of fuel additive just to "flush" everything out this weekend? Any suggestions?

i put some of those additives in my 96 vette to do the samething.but what ended up happening was i kept getting a Service Soon and Check Engine Light flashing on my dash. I reset the system but the lights came back so i checked the manuels to find answers. After i burned that tank of fuel with the additive the lights went away.So i didnt think much of it.then some months later my buddy gave me a another bottle of fuel cleaner so i took it and put it in my tank...it was for free so what the heck?then the Service Soon and Check engine lights came back again how annoying to have those lights flashing..the fuel system in very sensitive to what kinds of things you put in there it could even detect if the fuel cap isnt on right or if theres air in the system.but i guess if you follow the instructions on the bottle and put in the right amount i guess it will do some good.....

Lucas has a Gas/ Fuel Treatment that works wonders. I add it to every other tankful. Especially if I had to refuel at a last chance gas station. I put it in all of my Cars. I also Use CASTROL SNY and HIGH MILEAGE.:D

I agree with this fella, I use this stuff quite a bit and I feel that it has added to the longevity of my Vette!
