LOL!! I agree with you 100% and so do alot of my Vette owning friends. Brand X has just gotten too big for it's own good and the moderators are on a power trip most of the time!

I've been looking at those lights. Is there any way you could have painted the inside of the cover to protect the paint? I took my son's 3000GT lights apart with a hair dryer to do the same...

You can but it will not look that good and the clear plastic will add a very small tint of yellow to the paints color.
