My plastic trim in the hatch area squeaks something awful.
I am going to try something unusual. I took the trim off, cleaned it and sprayed it with black rubberized undercoating. So far it looks pretty good. Hope the rubber will stop the squeak of the plastic rubbing together.
Waiting for top to dry, then paint the bottom side.
Wish me luck.

Just put it back together.
No more squeaks!!!
Looks good also. We shall see how durable it is.
One down, many more to go.:rofl:
Now time to find a heater blend pipe. Have a little leak from the vac actuator.:doh:

great idea!!! i took an old tire tube and cut strips then glued on the underneath.
did you spray both sides with the spray and where did you get it. (hardware-auto store?)
Thanks

Yes I coated all sides. Got it at O'Rielly, $7.
Just not sure how durable it will be. Another option I thought of was spray plasti dip.
