I just got creamed by a twin turbo Porsche this morning. We went back and forth for a minute it seemed. Then I figured why not and floored it, and got to the point where I could see him in rear view mirror. And just as I was getting ready to pull off the gas and ready to claim victory that Porsche flew by me with a couple beeps from his horn. :smack: That car was moving!

Buy mine and take it on again....

A nice APS TT setup would have evened those odds very nicely... :D

viper got me i was runing a turbo de-sol and was sandbaging him then alll of a suden i here a roar and he starts to go around me so i pinned and he realy got in it and just pulled hard :willy_nilly: i trired though oh i pulled the de-sol buy 3 cars easy :cheers:

In terms of straight accel(only), on our RR track, the back straight is about 1/8 mile. You enter at about 45mph, accel to about 135-140 before slowing down again to about 40 mph to make the exit turn.

My street/track car has a centrif blower with 15 lbs of boost. I've had Porsche TTs, F430s, Ford GTs try to out pull me on the straights without success.

My new track car will have a forged 427 runing 13/1 compression. It should be able to out run most cars on the straights.

I dont get out enough with mine so I don't see the fast cars (mostly just mustangs). Although my best friend once raced a diablo in his geo metro. Bonus points for trying lol.

I have raced so many fast cars that I can't really pick just one car that stands out as the fastest! If I were to choose than it would have to be when I raced a Lambo Murcialago(spelling!) It was a good race but Istill took him!!:cheers:

I past a guy, about 55-60, in a late production year c5 in my pickup i was doing around 85-90 when I passed him and then he FLEW by me a 115+ EASY, I wasn't showing off i just was flying home, I had 30 mins to make a little more than 50 miles, almost made it too, guess he got mad my old $2500 pickup beat his $35,000-$40,000 car.

We have a problem here with imports racing on the highway. So every now and then I'll get passed by some hyundai and a civic doin about 90 or so. Ill wait on em' to slow down and buzz em both at about 150. Usually takes the wind outta their sails. :smack:

I hate to admit it but if I really want speed I go home and pull my 07 Duramax out of the shop. I love my 75 stingray but it will not catch my truck. 6.6ltr diesel with BullyDog 600 HP. It scares the s--t out of my wife.

AC cobra replica with a blown 4.6l engine. I was in the C6Z.

Haven't raced anything too exotic.
Raced and late 80's 911 Turbo here on the 210 East. He was giving me a good race for a few miles until he hit his nitrous. I think he blew me away from a 75mph roll.
