I was wondering if anyone no's of a good street legal drag tire that i can run on my 96 Vette.I have 275/40 ZR-18's in the rear on C-5 star spoke crome rims on Falken GRB K451 tires.The thing is its a good street tire but theres no grip on the 1\4 mile starting pad:( Even with a 0.075 reaction time with the auto trans i pulled a 14.400 at 100mhp.:( So i figured its the start and midway down the strip thats killing me.i hate to see Subaru's and Honda's cuttin 13.8's with .686-1sec reaction times and not to meantion low top ends like 91mph-93mph.:o :eek: I run out of LACR which i hear is the worst drag strip in the nation im tolled; no lie's about that folks...so any tips guys?

yep bf goodrich makes a drag radial dot approved it only has 3/16" of tread butt kicks I have the same problem it won't be for sale till end of month got a 2 on order go to bf goodrich on line its a ta radial 210.00 ea.

the # of that tire from goodrich is 74184 its 11" wide and fits on a 9.5 rim

What is your 60 foot time? I ran a 13.78 with a 2.073 60 foot time.
I run at Lebanon Valley Dragway. I also have Faulken Tires.
