Sorry to keep picking you out VO, but ..... you know what you're doing..
In the tune I needed to shut down my charcoal dump with the stock ECU. Not so sure why, I was just told I had to.
Now, with a new ECU and the elimination of the stock ECU, how do you propose I deal with tihs?
Thanks

Got any affiliation with Greenpeace?
If not ;Disconnect the vent line to canister at tank and run a new vent line down below the tank.Fumes will just vent to atmos like in the good ole pre-emissions days.
Don't smoke your cigar while under the rear of car

No idea why unless the canister purge was playing with your AFR ; which it would only do for a short time when programmed purge occurs

Thanks....knew I could count on you...:D
The car is in a garage, will it fill the garage with fumes? How much is actually dumped?
Can this create a dangerous condition, my kids bedrooms are over the garage.
I don't want critters in the garage, so I'm not leaving it open and there's on window in my garage.

Should not be a lot different than pre emissions car except , with EFI warm fuel is being cycled back to tank so there would be more vaporization in tank than with carb car where fuel has one way trip.
Plenty of street rod guys running bypass regs on their carb cars and you don't hear of any problems re, excess fumes
