I believe they are but if it's been off before they could be anything.

Two screws between the bottom edge of the cover and the bumper. Use a flashlight to see what they are.

Yes it is a torx driver T15. You'll find the two torx screws on the bottom side of the cover near each corner.

Speaking of buying, anyone know the best place to get a front plate cover?

Have you checked Ebay, corvette recycling, or even the parts for sale section here on the forum? I would start with those first.

Yea I have, cheapest one on ebay is more than if I went to the stealership.

That is why I don't go on ebay all that much anymore, not really good deals anymore.

I'm guessing the same on a '91? I'll look tomorrow- a shame but in N.Y. they'll hang you if you don't have that front tag on there.

I have one I can't use (required front plate here) if you want it. It's off of an '84, if that fits.
It needs work, PO painted it up pretty bad, looks like he tried to hand-paint the "corvette" lettering after a cup of coffee too many. You'd need to strip & refinish it.
PM me your shipping address and I'll send it off if you like.

Won't fit his. When the front nose changed so did the cover.
I mistakenly bought one for mine when I first got it that went to a later one. Had to sell it.

That's a big problem with ebay. A lot selling Vette parts just generically label things '84-96' without realization that there's a difference.

Could be phillips, standard, torx you name it, some people use anything!
