Hello to everyone!!! I'm new to this forum and a new owner of a 1985 corvette. My problem I'm having is this. My instrument panel is working but the lighting does not? and recently I plugged in my little car air compressor to the lighter and now the radio and cigerate lighter dont work? I have changed the fuse's in the panel but no luck? can any body help me with this problem. Before I purchaced this car the owner had it painted at Maco and I belive they did not put all the grounds back on. On the panel it shoes both blinkers on and the High beam light on. HELP:confused: :confused:

If the fuses are good I would follow the grounds and start your trouble shooting there. Possible connect a jumper ground from battery to ground connection on fuse box and see if that solves everything. If it does now you know it is a ground issue. Good luck!
