Hello all!
It's raining, so I took the day to adjust my idle and TPS. Everything went great. I have the TPS set at 0.54. Thing is, I noticed that someone said at WOT the TPS should be reading 5.0. I'm getting 4.7. Is that ok? When I stomp on the gas she shifts back and we're off (it's an automatic). I just wanted to check and make sure I'm still within spec.
Thanks!
Mike

That's fine. The ECU sets the TPS at 0 when you start the car.
For example, if the ECU is at .3 volts, the ECU considers that 0 and goes from there. (that's how my 90 works think other years do to)
If you reach 5V or not isn't as important as if it goes to the top end smoothly, without dropping out.

On the later cars with non adjustable TPS that is how it works.
On the earlier cars ECM looks for 5.4 as idle Volts

Never had one read over 4.2V WOT
