Hi everyone! The "http://www.alabamagoldstarfamilies.org/" Vettes for Vets event was one of the best days of my life. We did meet some of the finest people you'd want to meet and of course most were attached to a Corvette. We were awarded with 10 laps on the Talladega Speedway! WOW... my 2004 vette really impressed me, she hugged the curves and on that back strait she was right at home and easily hit 130mph. We had track rules to NOT pass anyone especially the pace car so we were limited and if you've never gone around the Talladega track it is SCARY as H___ especially the second curve... skid marks everywhere (wonder if Dale made any of them?). I hope everyone has a great 4th and let's remember those who have served and sacrificed to make the USA the greatest place on Earth. Attached a photo just before we hit the track.http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000164461460#!/photo.php?pid=405686&id=100000164461460&fbid=140044322677716

AHHHHAHHH! Do I wash her? I know there must be some dust from the track. Where do I put the plaque? What will I do differently for next year? BLOWER? Am I ready for INDY?
Every Vette owner should should experience the fun of putting their car on a track like Talladega. My only warning to you is that you are going to be so HIGH you're not going to be able to sit still for a month.
