After reading a good article in the May issue of Vette magazine I'm thinking about upgrading my distributor to this MSD one. If you haven't seen the article, its worth picking up they have a complete "how to" with photos.

The GM distributor was the only used part going back on my rebuild so I ordered the MSD Streetfire HEI with the recurve kit. When it arrived looked of good quality but very simular to the stock unit. Checked the end play and installed the recurve kit as needed. electrical hook ups as per original. Cant respond to te performance but I am assuming better than the 27 year old GM that its replacing.
