I found out My new short block I waiting to show up at my front door Mite have a Drivers Oil Dip stick.

Anyone knows what new dip stick I should order for a left sided dip stick.

I was told the vett needs a longer tube dip stick than the normal dip sticks for most other cars.

I don't need a high buck Bling Bling dip stick a stock black one will do for me.

Early (2 pce seal blocks) use a completely different dipstick to the later 1 pce blocks used 86L+
The dipstick mount on a early block is half way up the block compared to down on the pan pan rail on the later engines so the dipstick assembly is longer on the late engines

Gonna have to suck it and see.
Any off the shelf dipstick will fit block correctly; whether it clears everything in the C4 engine bay is a different story
