I did, i swapped my old 84 retro-billy for a beautiful luxury, no bang thankyou mam ride with 24 mpg. It corners like a mother and cuts out at 127mph with it's twin cam 4.6 litre V8

The ride is great and very quiet, no road noise at all at 120mph around the windows, very brisk off the line and shifts very smoothly compared to my old 4+3 banger.
The money pit is gone and it carries lots stuff in the boot/trunk.

1/4 mile is around 16 seconds, old vette was approx 14 seconds, however i never needed a 1/4 mile race as i do long distance races.
I already smoked a modded taurus in a 74 mile race.

I've got a stinkin' lincoln. 87 LSC we gave $750 for about 2 years ago. It's got the power leather recarlo seats with a perfect interior and the 5 liter out of the mustang GT. It's not really fast, but faster than most, like the vette it only has a 100k on it and handles great but the ride is smooth as glass. I luv it, bang for the buck it's one of the best cars I own. Unfortunately it now has a clogged cat and I think 2 air bags(shock springs) leaking down.
