Anyone else had the CHEAP PLASTIC latch break on their glove box door? Mine fell off while driving today and I can't pry/pull/push/force the door open to replace the CHEAP PLASTIC latch assembly. Any ideas or pics on this? 2006 hardtop.

UPDATE: If you bend down (OR lay on back) and look up into the hole left by the broken CHEAP PLASTIC door latch, you'll see an actual METAL shinny piece. Pull down on that shinny part with a pair of needle nose pliers........ viola........ open door. Then you can replace latch at a cost of $52 including tax. YIKES.. Guess I'll put a piece of police tape over the door so it doesn't get opened.

Thanks for the offer....... I just laid down the $50 for a new latch assy. The original broke into 4 or 5 pieces.
