I have stated last time I sorted out the original Bose system and got it back working. The front speakers' amplifiers I found to be both faulty. So I have found a similar but better type and comes out of the Audi. This little amplifier is actually smaller than the original ones that goes with the speakers and 2 channel as well. So I mounted 2 upmarket speakers in front, one left and one right, and connect the CDM to this amplifier and I have a great sound now in my car with the original Bose and CDM!! At the back I installed a bigger amplifier which is also driven by the original CDM unit.

Great work Theo! You just keep marching forward with all the stuff you do to your Vette!
I must admit that struggling with the Bose system has taught me quite a lot on the complete system!!
I just like the look of the original Bose system in the car and fits the dash!

That's good to know, we have some Audi parts cars that I think have the Bose system. Will have to look on Monday.

I had problems with my 85 bose speakers! So I removed the speakers and replaced all the capicitors and system works like a charm. It cost me 12.00 bucks in parts.
