On the freeway yesterday while I was at a constant 70+ mph the car was feeling like it was having a few hiccups but at lower speeds it seemed to be just fine. Any thoughts on that?

I would lean towards it being something with your injectors.

If you have an automatic transmission, you might have a torque converter lock-up problem. Or if you had your A/C on, you might have felt the compressor disengaging and engaging. Which would indicate a low refrigerant charge.

I LOVE that people isolate injectors as the problem!

However, what do you call "hiccups"....

A torque converter can do that if it locks, unlocks, locks, unlocks. The ECU is programmed to lock and unlock the TC at about those speeds.

SO if you can better define "hiccups" it would help.

Could be ignition....fuel....gas filter...lots of things.

HOWEVER, if you're so convinced you need rebuilt Bosch III 22 LB injectors with a LIFETIME WARANTEE, you let me know! :D :D

That's just how it is, people look for the quickest and easiest way out of problems and alot of poeple jump to conclussions before thoroughly looking at all the variables of the issue. Not that that guy is wrong, just saying that is my take on it. But heck, I would take you up on your injector w/lifetime warranty when/if the time comes.

I call it trouble guessing. (not trouble shooting)

If you replace enough parts, something may change...

People are just trying to help and we all have our set of experience to draw from. I've screwed up enough things, broken enough things, and spent enough money to know....:D

Ignition can also cause higher rpm problems (not saying thats your problem, just that there are several things that can cause a "hiccup"), I would vote on more info.
