Which exhaust will give the least drone? I get headaches quickly from certain pitches so I need to stay away from the heavier drone. This will be going on a 2001 C5, replacing the stock exhaust. Looking for something just little louder than stock, but can't have any drone if possible.

Corsa touring is said to have no drone and not to loud. :cheers:

If you stick to the touring editions you will be ok. If your ride is an auto you will most likely have more drone no matter what exhaust set up you go with.:)

:iagree: And you might want to look into Borla also, they have an exhaust that is pretty quiet also. Corsa does alot of advertising of no drone. Good luck

I have KOOKS along with CORSA PACRCARS with TIGERSHARK TIPS and I have no drone at all at any RPM. Before I had the Headers installed I had this CORSA PACRCARS with TIGERSHARK TIPS system along with the CORSA X-PIPE and it had no drone at any RPM. It is almost as quite at the stock system while crusing. However it will make some noise at WOT.:lol: Hope this helps.

last saturday. He says go with the Corsa Pace car system.
Good sound, no drone. The Touring system sounds much like the stock system. Also go to www.corsaperf.com and you can

What is the Corsa Pace car system supposed to be between the sport and touring?

I think the sport was renamed the Pace...

You may want to consider the stock Z06 titanium exhaust.

I spoke to the people over at Corsa yesterday and think I'm going to go with them. After seeing all your reply's and the conversation I had with them it seems like the best fit for what I'm looking for. Now I can't wait to get it!

I have been looking into exhaust systems and the Corsa seem to be a good choice. Check out the prices at Corvette Garage - http://www.corvettegarage.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=32. They seem to have the good deals, although I do not know about the costs with shipping. Let me know if you find a better source.

There was a guy I meet at the mall who had a '04 I think it was with a Corsa exhaust of some sort on it and it sounded strong. He made a point of starting the car up and reving it up to show off his new headers and exhaust. I have no idea how it sounded in the car but out side it sounded actually very good. The headers he got new and I remember him saying something about buying the exhaust used from someone. Either way it sounded pretty good. I might get an exhaust soon myself either the Corsa or I like Magnaflow (had on previous car).

I purchased the Corsa Touring Exhaust for my stock '03, but did not get the corsa X-pipe. BIG MISTAKE! Loved the exhaust at WOT and touring (much quieter than stock, no drone, even tried it on an 18 hour trip). But at idle, it was horrible. Sounded like a motor boat! :wtf:

Last night I took a recording with my cell phone since I was dropping it off this morning to have the X-pipe put on. I picked it up this afternoon and what a difference! :party:

I'll try to post x-pipe before and after audios this week.

Bottom line, I love the Corsa, but make sure you get the X-pipe with it!

:iagree: Corsa is our favorite, we have tried a few but always seemed to have the Corsa's back on at the end of the day!
