These both seem to be priced the same? Which is better? Red is 720 Cold cranking and the yellow is 500? Actually the red seams to have higher numbers but why is the Yellow priced about the same?

If I'm not mistaken the yellow top is a deep cell battery, but not sure of this though.

Correct, Yellow is deep cell. Used in applications where it gets charged and then completely discharged.
You want the red top IIRC.

I've had the red top for about 6 months and no complaints.

That was easy, red is the winner and the one I just ordered. Should I get different connectors?

I was just looking these batteries are like $200? Are they worth it?

You don't need to replace the battery cables. The Red Top has top post and side post so you're covered both ways. :D

I don't understand? "Used in applications where it gets charged and then completely discharged" - So this is on a car with no alternator?

Generally in boat/RV/winch applications that run pumps etc for long periods of time. Here's a good read on the battery types:

In my opinion they are worth every penny! They rarely fail compared to the regular batteries out there. I have yet to have a problem with mine!!

I was thinking about getting one of these batteries. Mine is getting close to the end of the road. I have seen alot of people recommending these batteries.

I just bought one of the red ones about 6 days ago. I had heard that they are some of the best batteries you can buy. When purchasing the guy at advance said that it was also a great battery if you race or do off-roading. Not that my vette will ever see off roading.

I'm having a little battery issue, with a testimonial like that I might pick up one myself.

That must have been his way of saying this battery is the sh*t!
