I finally had time to replace the leaking oil pressure sensor on rear of my 1984 Vette 350 engine this morning. Thanks to all who assisted with information in the planning. I have had several classic cars and this Vette and have never had an oil pressure sending unit go bad. Believe me, they can sprew out some oil when metal separates from plastic. I was lucky. Instead of the 1 or 3 blade electrical terminal, mine was the two blade terminal which is less expensive to replace. The repair job just cost me time and $14 including special socket to remove sensor in hard to reach spot.
