I was about to go to a car show Saturday when I noticed a pool of oil on my driveway when warming up MY '84. I parked the car back in my shop. Sunday afternoon I jacked up the left front and crawled under it. There was a small steam of oil, not dripping but running, from the oxygen sensor wire which goes to the exhaust pipe near the oil filter. The oil filter is tight and no damage. Oil is coming down the left rear of engine above oil filter. The engine runs fine. Any idea where oil is coming from?

Are there any oil-related sensors in the vicinity? Oil pressure sending unit?

As stated in his other post on the same problem

I saw the other post after I'd already replied to this one. I thought there was a sending unit in that area that's been known to leak. Nice to see a picture of it!

Sorry but I could not make out the picture. Is the pic looking down toward left rear of engine from firewall? Is the metal color cylinder with black connector with tube attached an oil temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor or fuel pressure sensor?

I finally made out the pic. It must be the oil pressure sensor looking down on engine with intake manifold removed. If it is my oil pressure sensor that needs replacing, can it be replaced without removing the intake? I have read some procedure online and it described replacement with intake removed.
