OK I just had the insturment cluster re-built. Still no information on the displays. Checked fuse on Passengers fuse block. Fuse good over 12V at this point. Removed Drivers information panel (center), Checked fuse there. Fuse good. No voltage. Somtimes when I turn the key the lights in the Inst. Pnl. will come on for a sec, then off, but no real time dispaly of functions. Any hints before I call the shop, or anyplace where I can find free electrical schematics on line? I have the Chiltons, but not adequate. Thanks for your time MK

Ahhhh Of all the things that I had to repair after buying my 87. The instrument cluster lighting all up after a rebuild made me smile the most. :woowoo: I never knew it had an upshift light. Good luck on that bro.

Congrats on your rebuild. Do it yourself or have it done? My question is I have a contrast problem. Every thing lights up, am aboe to adjust brightness, but the contrast lighting is too bright so the actual nubers don't show up well. Anyone have a solution or similar problem? Mine is an '86 vette.
