Question. Does anyone Micro The Bellhousing Center to the Crankshaft for perfect alignments ( Spin Crankshaft and take Measurement around edge of Bellhousing).
Besides the Alignment tooling for the Clutch plate.
Tranny says to Micro Bellhousing to Crankshaft Centering with Magnetic Dial Indicator.
All my friend never do it. Cant see even bellhousing being of Perfect trueness.
Picture insert is not mine. Just a example of what I should Do. Problem is I dont have a Indicator. Also. How I know the Transmission and or Bellhousing is that True .007?

The bellhousing is located on the block by the dowels.If it was out of true then only way you would be able to re align it would be by putting offset dowels in the block

Question is do you actually do this. That wasnt my picture. I can't believe you can actually get a viable measurement like that. Do you follow this when you install. Trans. no one i know does. But it probably makes sense.
