I turn the key and nothing?! :( I don't have anything to test the battery? Is that the only thing this could be? If I keep turning the key, the starter will finally kick in and start the car. Then when I shut off the car the started was still making noises? I then quickly disconnected the battery? :( Holy crap what a mess this car is right now. So any help would be super appreciated.

Sounds like it could be your starter solenode, can you remove the starter and have it tested?

Any chance it might be a lose ground somewhere?

Before taking anything apart.... MAKE SURE your battery is ok. I jumped through hoops trying to find the same problem. I found out the battery took a complete dump on me long before it was suppose to.

AutoZone or the like can test your battery. I would have that checked first.

Did you find out what was wrong with your ride? I have a buddy that has been having that problem with his mustang.
