: C6 headlights on C5?
Is this possible? Can the C6 headlights be installed on a C5? Has anyone attempted this? If so and tips or suggestions? I want to rid of the flip ups and move to a stationary fixture. I have seen some of the aftermarket ones and like the C6 lights the best. These will be going on a 2004. Appreciate any help.

I don't think it's possible to install C6 headlights on a C5, there are conversion kits available that have the headlights exposed, what are you looking for, the exposed light look?? there are HID kits that make the C5 lights just as good!! I have a C5 with a HID conversion, I LOVE THEM!!!

silverbullit99 03-05-2008, 05:59 PM Not possible, it's a completely different design. There are many non flip light kits that fit right in the same place with minimal modifications.. here's one from another forum..

Thanks for the heads up. Do you have a photo of the front of your car you can share? How was the install? Did you do it yourself?

jagged 03-06-2008, 06:26 AM I do like those lights!!!!. Were can one get them.:willy_nilly:
Spiral04 03-06-2008, 04:51 PM The C6 lights have been put on a C5, but with lots of work. It needs a custom hood, front fenders, and front bumper. The guy who did it I believe owns a body shop. It looks awesome. But the price of the bodywork would be rediculous. There are many different fixed light kits, and some have different contours. You'll have to look around to see what you want.

Yeh that door just shut. Way more work than I want for just the headlights. I appreciate you taking the time on the answer. Now on those other C5R headlight kits do they require all that stuff? New hood, fenders, etc??? Thanks

Spiral04 03-08-2008, 10:07 AM ebay, breathless performance, and westcoat corvette are just a few places you can check for variety. I'm sure there are other vendors on here that also have them.
02RonZ06 03-08-2008, 10:22 PM They are all kinda pricey I think, the least expensive ones that I have seen are about $699, and they really don't look as good as the others that are about $999.

:iagree: I didn't want to spend a grand on lighting, so I sprung for $150 ebay HID's that I hear are great, but I have been too lazy too install them. The thousand dollar HID's would be better than the ebay HID's because the more expensive ones come with complete housings with proper reflectors, where as ebay is just the ballasts and bulbs to plug in your stock projectors.

I've seen those on ebay. Didn't look like a complete package kit as the others. What can you do?
