Just curious, was there some sort of recall on the C4 seat belts?

Not that I'm aware of! Does your stick and will not pull out of retractor???

My passenger seat belt sticks, other times has excess slack, the cinch button sticks (driver side also), and the belt generally won't retract. Very seldom does it work properly, and I often have someone riding, usually my young daughter, so I'm concerned for safety.

This is interesting and have a question. I have only owned mine for a few months. Are you saying they will still honor that type of recall? Is there a time limit?

It is a safety recall so it never expires. Finding a dealer who is willing to work with you and willing to find the part is another story. Also, I have heard that they will just put in any belt the have that fits and you may get one that doesnt match the interior of the car.

Hey, speaking of seatbelts...I've been looking for a new set; mine started out white but are now grey and stained. I've tried Echler's and a few others, but can't find the white. Anyone seen any anywhere?

If yours aren't frayed, or otherwise unusable, then you can go the route of having them dyed back to the original white, once they are cleaned up as much as possible. Any shop that specializes in interior restoration, or furniture restoration should be able to help out with this.

Was this confirmed?

Other than what is posted here, I haven't found it confirmed anywhere. I do plan to contact Rick Hendrick Chevrolet here, and see what they respond with. I'll post what I find out.

Mine have been working well and hope I never really try to test them!
