I would like to paint my calipers myself and was wondering where can I get paint that will stand up to the high heat the brakes put out?

Duplicolor makes a kit for painting calipers with heat resistant paint that you can buy at most autopart stores like Kragen, Autozone, and PepBoys.

Also, take a look at this kit found at Ecklers:

Appreciate the tip. Do you know if this is sprayed on or brush? Someone was telling me that there are kits out there where you brush it on?? Shouldn't I be looking for the spray kits?

These are brush on kits. I haven't done mine yet, but when I do, I'll be doing it with the brush kit. I'm waiting to do my first brake job before painting my calipers. Others that I know that have painted their calipers said that the paint dries smooth and their calipers look great! The other advantage, is you can paint them easily while the caliper is still on the car, without overspray going all over the place.

Take a look at this site for some good advice and instructions with pictures on painting your Corvette calipers:

Thanks again for the help. I wasn't really excited about the brush application but will look at the site you gave. See you around and I'll keep you posted on what I end up doing.
