What do you use to get the wax off black plastic parts to get them black again?

Thanks,

DJ

Any all purpose cleaner will do the job. Most auto detailing companies make plastic/vinyl/trim cleaners that work well also.

All Purpose Cleaner and a toothbrush works wonders. Work the brush in circular motions to allow the bristles to get into all the textured parts of the plastic. Used this method to remove paint transfer (don't ask) from my trucks mirror recently. It that method will take off paint it will definitely remove wax or polish residue.

Wow, I never thought of using it to get paint off. I'm going to have to try this.

Me too. I have a small paint mark from where someone hit me in a parking lot with their door. Would this work on paint to paint transfer as well or would that be too harsh on the paint?
