Which will give the best reductions in temp on headers?

The coatings work well and do not add clearance issues that wrapping can, especially with 1 7/8" headers.

Aren't wraps just used on race cars?

I have a cherry red 2000 degree ceramic coating on mine.

I think the wrap will reduce the temps more but ...the wrap will rot your headers because they retain moisture. Been there done that. Get the coated headers inside and out, :SMILEY:
