Hello All,
I am a brand new vette owner. I actually have only driven my car about 5 times. I bought it in November and put it away for the winter 2 weeks later. I have never wanted spring to come so bad ever.
What I need help with is the carb. If you press the gas down quickly there is a little hesitation. I have been told this is a common problem on 81's. My question is should I replace the carb with a new one, or rebuild the rochester one. If I do replace it which one works the best.

81, if I remember correctly, was the first year for computer control. There are a couple of guys around that are the real deal on how to set them up and tuning. I see if I can get you hooked up. And changing the carb to something other than the original type requires several other parts to make it run right. The computer control system is hooked into other systems as well..
