I couldn't even do a quote with the picture.. Bummer................
Soulper4mance 05-07-2010, 08:38 AM I have the duraflex TS.. IF i would have known then what I knew now I would have saved a few more pennies for the tigershark Urethane bumper. The fiberglass TS is not predrilled at all, you have to modify it to make your bumper lights mount( I fiberglassed mine in) and after its mounted...it still doesnt sit quite as right compared to a Urethane bumper.

How did you get it to fit? Mine is so bad it would take many hours x 10 to make it look the way I would like it to.. Could you post some pictures? That would be really cool! Thanks..
Soulper4mance 05-07-2010, 11:53 AM IT still doesnt fit right as id want it to. It needs glassing in some areas to fill in gaps from the molding process. It took hours trying to line it up. I enlarged the drill holes on the fenders to allow adjustabliity. I then used small washers on each of the holes.

It fits great. Some minor adjusting is need on the car, not the Tiger Shark itself. Mine is made by Starcraft, which is a company that does a lot of aftermarket kits for a lot of different cars. You get what you pay for. This one cost me around $950 with the fog light openings.

Your old vents do not go in the Tiger Shark. It comes with it's own vents. They are shaped differently.

If it doesn't come from Starcraft, I would touch it.

Soulper4mance 05-10-2010, 11:03 AM Actually those vents arent brake cooling ducts. those are the Ducts for our Vararam Intake. minor Trimming around the lips was all that was necessary to fit.

Junkman2008 05-10-2010, 11:49 AM The brake ducts are what I'm talking about. You toss the old ones (or sell them) and install the ones that come with the TS.
beaners 05-10-2010, 11:50 AM I dont mean the center. I mean the ones below the park/sig lamp. on my parts breakdown they call it brakeduct #41
http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/JayBavet/Corvette%20C5%20Before%20and%20After/Corvettepartsbreakdown.jpg
they go thru the inner fender whole.

The reason I was asking because our bumpers the intake whole is much longer and wraps around the side...... Thanks
Junkman2008 05-10-2010, 11:59 AM Yes, that is correct. They go inside the bumper.

Nice!! The piece of crap cover I got didn't come with them I ordered factory's.
I was kinda wondering if soulper4mance got his originals to work.

What kind of deal did you get your front cover for?
Soulper4mance 05-10-2010, 03:25 PM Hey beaners, I chose to run without the actual brake ducts altogether. As far as OEM brake ducts go, mine are on the shelf. I just deleted the front ducting portion and havn't looked back since. If in the future I ever feel the need to have the front brake scoops, one can easily fab some that work, as the brake ducts new inlet will have to be positioned slightly lower than factory.
Junkman2008 05-10-2010, 04:20 PM I don't know about "easily fabbed". If you look at the pictures of my brake duct opening, they wrap around a signicant part of the bumper. Plus, the new ons are very flat so that they don't take up a lot of room. Very sleek and custom looking. One would be better off buying a quality kit, and that being one from Starcraft (http://www.starcraftparts.com/catalog/display.php) or one of their distributors.

I paid $739.19 for it..Shipped... I wouldn't pay $200.00 for it if I had the chance again.... Maybe these are good enough for the little rice burner peoples cars. But they should not even sell them for VETTE owners...= QUALITY

That's not too far off of the price that Starcraft offers without the fog light holes, and you get all the hardware!
