:confused: I am replacing the heater core in my 84 and in doing so, you have to pull the computer up under the passenger side dash. When removing that, you must disconnect the 2 electrical plug-ins to it. The wiring to those 2 electrical connectors run into a main wiring loom (wires all in a black covering about half dollar in diameter) which also has a small black plastic vacumn line about a foot long coming out of it. This vacumn line came undone from wherever it's suppose to go during my disassembly and I need help! :wtf: Where does this line go? I think it cold possibly hook-up on the other end to a coolant control valve on the front of the air conditioning box, but not sure. Boy do I hope I am making sense! Thanks in advance for everyone's help!

I followed the wiring loom further back under the dash and the vacumn line in question came out of the wiring loom about 8 inches back. Which means, it connects to nothing. It apparently is placed there at the factory to be used to tie up the wiring loom or lacate it in a paticular place during assembly of the car!

The vacuum line works the a/c and heater vents under the dash, look behind the heat/ ac control switches under the radio.
