I need help with my '86 vette that has a intermittant crank but no-start.Has new ignition lock&cyl with new key & correct resistor #5 & still has problem even with key by-passed w/aftermarket vat by-pass,has correct resistance.Is there anyway I can by-pass injector enable signal to ecm or do I need module replacement?Is there a cost effective replacement part & how would I go about it.I have security light only if doors are open,no light when cranking & I beleive starter enable has been by-passed(manual trans).I just bought vehicle 3 weeks ago for a smoking price for a project,Thanks for any help.

It SOUNDS like you're saying that it always cranks, but intermittently, won't start. If that's the case, that has NOTHING to do w/VATS, the right key, FEDS or any other security issues.

When it won't start, which is missing; fuel or spark?
