Retailers sure stick it to you! Ordered my new brakes yesterday $2400 for the fronts and $2100 for the rears! Ouch! But I got free shipping :willy_nilly: All set and done the stock ones are going to ebay.
Anyone install their own brakes? Let me clarify install a big brake upgrade?

Good brakes very expensive :( You'll be happy once they on your car.

If you wanna play you gotta pay :) I went with the two piece Baer rotors with the larger 14" rears, about a grand for the sets, but I have been thinking big brake complete front and rears for a while, especially since I have the 18" front and 19" rear CCW SP500's they would look killer with those. I have to wait till my ride is back from the speed shop getting the Magnuson Supercharger and accessories installed now, to start thinking of another project. At least I think I would do that at home myself in the garage. The Maggie install would have had to get to the shop to get the custom tune anyway, so I let it all get done there.

A set of AP Racing brakes for the front of say an '07 (6 Piston, 2 Piece) are about $3700. The rears (4 Piston, 2 Piece) are about $3000
Not inexpensive, but well worth the money if you track your car.
