I know alot of high end cars have the cabin filter for the AC. Does a 2002 Corvette have this? If so where is the filter located so I can clean or replace?

I might be wrong but I think I remember reading in another post here that here isn't a filter in these cars?

No filter then. Does anyone else's air that is coming out smell?

Most of the time, the smell comes from mold caused by moisture left in the vents. GM and many auto parts stores sell a spray that is supposed to kill the mold and freshen the air. Some people have just sprayed Lysol into the duct. You can spray it in the intake vent in the cowl area in front of your hood with the air running. You can also reduce moisture and mold build up by shutting off the compressor and just running air through the system a few minutes prior to shutting down your car.

I will try this. Curious which intake vent are you refering to? Can't be the one that the engine sucks up??

It is in the cowl, just in front of your wipers. I found this picture out on the web of the cowl with an aftermarket filter placed over it. This is the area where your system picks up external air. Make sure that your a/c is not in recirculation mode if you spray through the external cowl vent. If you run your system in recirculation mode I've heard you can spray up under the dash in the passanger footwell and it will get picked up.

There is a product called Ozium, that is supposed to work pretty good. It's sold at Walgreens and Pepboys.

I also found this product sold by Autogeek:
