A co worker just bought a 1999 C5 that had a blown motor and he is planning to put a 1962 Corvette body kit on this frame and rebuild the motor? I have not heard of this, nor in my personal opinion would I go with a kit like this? I guess I'm not big on kit cars to begin with. 9 out of 10 times it looks cheesy?

Has anyone even seen one of these?

Im not sure if it was a '62 but the are I believe two coversion kits thay fit the C5. The are show winners almost everytime.:cheers:

I have been going to Corvette shows for years and the older Vettes always draw attention. I like the C5 body the best so wouldn't do it myself.
