Damn, I made sure that the last time I took out my plugs that I used a good deal of anti sieze and yet a couple of my plugs still get stuck. I mean I was able to get them out but it took some work.
Is there anything else to do, maybe I didn't put enough on them?

Besides using anti-seize and being careful not to over tighten them on install there is nothing else you can do. Just be thankful you used it last, imagine how hard it would be if you didn't.

Make sure you change the plugs when the engine is cold.

Hopefully somebody didn't over-torqued them before you and stretch out the threads.

It's best to just tighten them snug and then a bit more. All they have to do is seal and transfer heat. I have a feeling you're tightening them too much.

You know, there are torque specs for plugs too. Use the torque wrench and get it to what the factory specifies. Off the top of my head, its like 21 ft lbs on mine, I believe.

You know I feel bad saying this, but I have never torqued my spark plugs.:loser:

you dont need much anti-seize. Like mentioned above, sounds like you are over tightening the plugs. Might want to consider a torque wrench

Don't know if it's an accepted practice anymore, but years ago we used to use a thread chaser to clean the threads of the cylinder.. Used to grease it to prevent crud getting into the cylinders. 'The torgue was approx. 11 ft. lbs.

:iamwithstupid:

 Nor have I, but that's what its there for, and how does it hurt knowing or actually doing that? Is it better to over/under torque them? Obviously not.:stupid:

Knock on wood never had a stuck spark plug.

I use copperslip anti seize compound and works really well!

I think its because of the dissimilar metals. I changed mine for the fist time last week and they were not fun.

Theres really no need to torque them, just put them in, snug them up till they touch, then give them just a little more. These plugs have a crush gasket on them so this is all thats required. You would be lucky to get to half of them with a torque wrench anyway...WW

I bought plugs once and Was confident they gave me correct plugs.

But they didnt. Was total nightmare to figure it out.
