: STILLEN - Callaway SC Install - '03 Corvette

Stillen is doing a Callaway supercharger install on an ’03 Vette – starting tomorrow. Going to do before and after dyno runs on our in-house DynoJet. Hope to be able to post the charts and some info on the install within the next couple of days. Watch for updates.

As promissed - here is the before install dyno run. Not bad if ya ask me - 311.72 RWHP and 328.46 RWTQ. Will be very interesting to see the results AFTER the install. Will post pics of the car also (purchased an RK Sport hood through us).

DynamicTuningSolutions 02-26-2008, 11:07 PM Sounds like normal numbers for a pretty stock C5. I see a little knock retard going on at 3000 and again at 4500 in that dyno graph. Pretty normal for a stocker as well. This is going to be fun!

Hey there,
Yes, its a Magnuson - but its sold through Callaway. Callaway has some partnership with Magnuson for delivery of Corvette superchargers. The tune actually comes from Callaway. If it were a supercharger for a Mustang or say a GTO it would be a Magnuson.

You should stop in some time. We are also the North American Distributor for AP Racing brakes (a good upgrade for a high horsepower Vette) :)

Completed the install and did one initial dyno today (problems with the dyno). Here is from todays pull. Have the customer coming back in one day next week and will do a little more dyno time and post a better chart. Figured I would at least show ya this :)

Sorry for the slow reply. These are from my phone - not the best, but hey - thats what I have. We also have a video of the dyno run - which I will TRY to post tomorrow. Like I said, have the customer coming back in next week for another set of dyno pulls also. If the last pull is even close though - thats pretty amazing - over 150 RWHP increase.

The customer called me late yesterday evening. Said it brought a HUGE smile to his face. Had a bunch of kind words to say because of the service he received also (of course) :) Will be interesting to see what the next dyno pull shows. Seems like a HUGE increase in power to be just by doing a SC install.
